The last spooky book I read was The Haunted Looking Glass, ghost stories collected by and illustrated by Edward -- good, old fashioned, spooky fun!

Just finished Miss Peregrine's Home FPC last week and I was totally freaked out. It's a great book though, but i'm not going to read book 2 just yet. I can only do so much creepy at a time.

Something Wicked This Way Comes - still scares me just thinking about it!

Not really spooky but definitely disturbing is The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara. It's a trilogy and needs to be read in order to make sense. I've only read them once whereas I've read all of the others multiple times. I just couldn't handle certain things that happened.

I don't actually find any books or movies scary (since I think too much about how they're produced, carried out or how things would go if it was real life), but this trilogy had its fair amount of twisted nightmares and gore :)
