A dark and tender
post-apocalyptic love story set in the aftermath of a bloody war. In a
city where humans and Darklings are now separated by a high wall and
tensions between the two races still simmer after a terrible war,
sixteen-year-olds Ash Fisher, a half-blood Darkling, and Natalie
Buchanan, a human and the daughter of the Emissary, meet and do the
unthinkable--they fall in love. Bonded by a mysterious connection that
causes Ash's long-dormant heart to beat, Ash and Natalie first deny and
then struggle to fight their forbidden feelings for each other, knowing
if they're caught, they'll be executed--but their feelings are too
strong. When Ash and Natalie then find themselves at the center of a
deadly conspiracy that threatens to pull the humans and Darklings back
into war, they must make hard choices that could result in both their
deaths.

coperta mi se pare interesanta, o expolozie de culoare. iubirea in conditiile unui razboi postapocaliptic mi se pare frumoasa.

descrierea e si ea frumoasa, dar parca alte carti postapocaliptice sunt mai bune. acum, nu pot sa ma pronunt doar citind descrierea, poate ca e mult mai atractiva decat pare:D
Idee tipica, daaaaar imi place cum suna =p~, pare chiar promitatoare, vreau sa o citesc! Mintea deja imi zbura la ce s-ar putea intampla :))
Suna chiar bine si abia astept sa imi pun mana pe cartea asta, mai ales ca mi-a placut mult coperta!
stiam de ceva timp de ea, si de prima data cand am vazut-o si i-am citit descrierea, mi-am dorit s-o am in biblioteca!
Coperta e extraordinata. MI se pare aleasa bine aceea explozie a unei...flori?
O distopie interesanta, zic eu. Lumea sa se imparta in doua categorii si sa fie despartie de un zid...

descrierea la fel! subiectul de dragoste interzisa prin carti prinde foarte bine, in special in zilele noastre cand, cavalerii sunt pe cale de disparitie :)
poate va aparea si la noi, as citi-o cu placere.
Imi place ca e o poveste distopica si mai nou ma atrag foarte mult... Pare o poveste in genul Romeo si Julieta doar mie mi se pare asa? bn sper sa nu fie cu final tragic :P. Coperta e superba :D
