Just finished Miss Peregrine's Home FPC last week and I was totally freaked out. It's a great book though, but i'm not going to read book 2 just yet. I can only do so much creepy at a time.
Recently read The Boylan House by Ron Ripley it was the first in a trilogy and it was a short story but a creepy one. I can't wait to try the rest of the trilogy to see how it ends.
Not really spooky but definitely disturbing is The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara. It's a trilogy and needs to be read in order to make sense. I've only read them once whereas I've read all of the others multiple times. I just couldn't handle certain things that happened.
I haven't read any spooky books, not really. But I do have Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children & Rot and Ruin waiting on my shelves so I would love for you to read them and tell me how they are :) Thanks for the giveaway! Fingers crossed...
The Devouring by Simon Holt. I don't actually find any books or movies scary (since I think too much about how they're produced, carried out or how things would go if it was real life), but this trilogy had its fair amount of twisted nightmares and gore :)
I would recommend Christine by Stephen King. I didn't think I could believe that a car is evil but, wow, I fully believed it while reading this spooky story. :)
