The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. But my all time favorite book adaption would have to be The Green Mile by Stephen King. They did such a wonderful job on that movie.

I went to see The Martian just a week ago. I liked it, especially the extra scenes at the very end that were not in the book, but I've read the book before seeing the movie and the book is much better, the movie is very abridged, the novel has more science and humor.
