Welcome in a world ruled by Archangels and angels. A world where vampires live among humans without bloodshed and have to obey strict rules or die.

Elena Deveraux is a Hunter. Her role is to track those vampires gone rogue and deliver them to their masters, the angels. And she’s the best.

Her track record is what brings her to the Cadre of Ten’s attention. Those ten Archangels who rule the entire world and who, now, need her for what it might be the most dangerous job ever since she joined the Hunter’s Guild.

The Archangel Raphael rules over New York and even if he’s never been unfairly cruel, people fear him.

Elena does too.

Their first encounter is more a power play and will change both their lives forever.

Let me tell you that this is my favorite go to series when nothing else is good enough. I’ve read it and reread it so many times that I lost the count.

Nalini’s writing style is flawless and you’ll feel like you’re actually a part of that world, being unable to put the book down until you’ve read the last page. Even then, you’ll want more and more.

The characters are very well defined, have strong personalities and sharp intelligence and the bonds between them, the interactions are so that you won’t have any problem connecting with them.

You’ll be unable to dislike even the most hateful ones, trust me on that. Just when you think you don’t like someone, something happens that will make you reconsider and give them a second chance.

Mrs. Singh is an artist at blending together mystery, romance, intrigue action and humor creating breath taking stories.

This is one of those books you just HAVE to read. Actually, you have to read the entire series, novellas and all.
