Când Carlos Fuentes se mută în oraş, atmosfera se încinge...
Carlos se consideră trădat atunci când Alex, fratele mai mare pe care
îl idolatrizează, hotărăşte să părăsească banda Latino Blood pentru
a-şi face un viitor alături de iubita lui gringa, Brittany. Mai
mult decât atât, Alex îl obligă pe Carlos să se întoarcă din Mexic şi
să se facă băiat cuminte. Însă Carlos vrea să trăiască în continuare
periculos. Dar legăturile cu banda lui din Mexic nu sunt uşor de rupt,
chiar dacă acum locuieşte în Colorado, la unul dintre profesorii de
colegiu ai lui Alex.
Carlos nu se simte deloc în largul lui în suburbii. Şi e cu atât mai
tulburat de sentimentele pe care începe să le nutrească faţă de Kiara,
fiica profesorului, care nu seamănă deloc cu acele chicas mexicane
exotice de care este atras de obicei. Curând, Carlos şi Kiara descoperă
că, în relaţiile sentimentale, legile atracţiei înfrâng diferenţele
sociale şi înlătură toate pericolele care conspiră să-i ţină la
distanţă.

sambata nu am vaut nici o carte pe langa mine, dar am stat cu gandul al 11 minute de P.C., pe care am primit-o a doua zi :)
