Some of you have seen/heard me talking about Obsidian's new cover and there's been a lot of questions about why and how that effects the cover continuity of the series. I know, I know, the bane of a book lover's existence, besides dog eared pages, is a change up in covers, but it happens.
The main reason is that Obsidian is getting re-released in mass market on April 2012 and a new cover was in the works for that new release. It will be the standard size of YA paperback. And no, I really don't know what that size is. The new print copy and ONLY that print copy will include two more scenes from Daemon's POV at the end plus the new cover.
Does the cover still have Daemon on it? Of course. Is it the same image as before? No. Do I like it? No. I love it.
Does this mean that Onyx is getting an overhaul? Yes. Because the wonderful peeps over at Entangled want ALL the covers, including Shadows, to match. So Onyx will also be getting a new look.
I don't know when the cover will be showed at this time. Probably soon-ish. But in the meanwhile, here is a tease of the new cover.

Eu de abia acum am aflat! Habar n-aveam! Copertile vechi erau frumoase, dar parca le lipsea ceva. Abia astept sa vad noile coperti!

Mai, ce ochi are tipul! Le sta bine impreuna si fara-ndoiala noile coperte vor fi super.
abia astept sa vad noile coperti:X pur si simplu ii iubesc pe cei doi!! mi-as dori foarte mult sa apara si la noi cartile astea (mai mult din cauza celor doi:)) dar, oricum, si subiectul ma atrage)
nu pot sa spun doar ca iubesc modelele de pe coperti

Si eu as vrea sa apara seria la noi. Asta daca pana apare nu comand versiunea in engleza. Multi autori schimba copertile dar uneori este bine :D Ca sa aiba de unde alege cititorii
