SEPTEMBER GIVAWAY Oh! And it's INTERNATIONAL

Well friends, as I promised you a few days ago, I have something cooking for you! To celebrate reaching my 200 followers (and to try to improve your mood somehow, because summer is gone, holiday is gone too and so on, anyway I have a bad mood because of these things and I just assumed all of you must have it too), along with my comrades Mona and Deea at Deea's Journal, give away some of our favorite books.

We're going to start with some must-read vamp books, as vampires are soooo adored at the moment (as a matter of fact...they always had been)

First prize will be a copy of Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon. This book is sooo good. I can't find the words to describe it, so i'll let Deea do it, because she's better at it.

" Before you all start yelling at me that it came out years ago and that it's in the middle of a very long series etc etc, let me explain myself. I haven't been a big fan of the Dark Hunter series (crazy, I know) so I read this book only recently, more as a challenge from Julia here. And boy, am I glad I read it! It's so different from the previous books in the series and from all the adult Paranormal Romance books I read lately and SO DAMN GOOD, I just feel like everyone should read it. Seriously. If you haven't read this series yet and the 20+ books scare you (that's what put me off for so long), it doesn't matter. Jut read this one, you won't regret it. Promise. :)

It feels a bit weird to write a review for a book that, as I already mentioned, is the 15th in a series and came out years ago, but I think I should at least point out some important aspects about it. 

 It’s a very, very long story that initially breaks your heart, makes you sad, depressed, frustrated, angry, speechless, hopeful but then it also makes you smile and feel all warm and fuzzy. Maybe it makes you question your own reality. Simply put, it makes you feel everything. It’s so intense and powerful and bitter sweet! And after seeing what happened to Acheron in his human life, it’s impossible not to care for him and to want what’s best for him. And that’s exactly what Kenyon delivers by bringing Tory, his soulmate, in the second part of the book. They are a perfect match. And everything is wrapped up in brilliant story telling and wonderful, captivating writing. Add to that a nice blend of mystery, suspense, action, humor, hotness, delicious romance and you got a perfect book! Yup, a must read!"

That was her, as you can see, she likes to skip the main course and get straight to the desert, which is Acheron...That's why we love her so much!

Then we have for you the first two books in the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton. I think they are already classics and all paranormal lovers know them, but if you want to read more about them, here are the Goodreads links: Guilty Pleasures, The Laughing Corpse. 

And last but not least, another classic, The Virgin of the Seven Daggers. Excursions into Fantasy by Vernon Lee.
